Meet Doctor Phuong Vo I have known all my life that I wanted to work in the medical field. One key early influence was my father. He studied medicine when we lived in Vietnam but when we arrived in Canada, he had to switch careers. Life got in the way and he was never able to graduate and practice medicine. For myself, dentistry proved more conducive to my family life. I entered Mount Saint Vincent University in 1995 and graduated in 1999 with a bachelor in Science. In 2004 I graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS with a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree. I find the practice of dentistry to be highly rewarding both in terms of helping people to attain oral health and beauty and also helping them overcome the fear and stress many feel when visiting the dentist. Of particular interest to me are the fields of cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics. I strive to excel in these areas through ongoing regular education. I was Born in Vietnam and arrived in Canada at the age of 2. I grew up in Nova Scotia and moved to London several years ago. I speak English, French and Vietnamese which allows me to practice in multicultural settings. Other than my professional life, I am blessed to be married to a wonderful man who’s always been a pillar of support along with my 3 beautiful children. In my free time, I love to read but unfortunately I'm so busy that I rarely find the time. I love Vietnamese food for its fresh herbs and quality ingredients, as well as sushi for its colorful complexity. My last vacation was in Jamaica; I envy the people's ability to live a relaxed and simple life. This is my life story. I hope to get a chance to meet you and hear yours as well. Come on in, we’d love to have you.
