Childreach was founded in 1975 by Dr. John McKim, a London pediatrician. In 1997, Childreach and the Early Childhood Education Resource Centre joined together to create an Early Childhood Development and Parenting Centre that serves the residents of London and childcare programs in the surrounding five counties. Childreach is governed by a volunteer board of directors representing the community. Our services are publicly funded. “We believe that every parent wants the best for his or her child. If the best is not being provided, it is because of some barrier - such as inexperience, depression, illness, aloneness or poverty.
