Kawartha Antique Power is a non-profit organization with charitable status consisting of 283 full-time members and 44 junior members who meet the third Tuesday of each month at the Sunderland Co-op with the prime objective being to plan and host an annual antique power heritage show the third weekend of June at the Lindsay Fairgrounds. Following each meeting, members share news of their recent acquisitions and projects while enjoying a cup of coffee and friendship. The Society was formed for the purpose of bringing together people with an interest in preservation, restoration, and exhibition of our heritage. We believe it is important to celebrate our rural Canadian past, and appreciate the ‘bygone’ days of farming.
