Le Chenil La Fierté Canine a vu le jour progressivement. En 1987, je n'avais aucunement l'intention de faire de mon amour des chiens, un travail permanent. Un beau jour, comme beaucoup de gens, j’eu envie de faire l’acquisition d’une petite chienne pour ma famille. Un de mes enfants étant asthmatique, j’entrepris de faire des démarches pour savoir quelle race convenait le mieux à notre situation. Mes recherches, incluant des consultations auprès de vétérinaires, m'ont appris que le caniche et le shih tzu sont hypo allergènes, voilà pourquoi mon choix s’arrêta sur le shih tzu. J’ai donc pu profité avec mes enfants, de cette petite boule de poils très sociable et enjouée.
