The VTEA Riding Centre is located among rolling fields on 256th Street in Aldergrove just south of the Fraser Highway. There are woods on the property with trails that stimulate the senses in a variety of ways. Lessons are ongoing and we have some of the best Instructors and Volunteers that therapeutic riding has to offer. We have been operating since 1983 and are most grateful for the financial assistance we receive from the Province of British Columbia. Nevertheless to ensure excellence in our programs, fundraising is an ongoing priority. Valley Therapeutic Equestrian Association is a well-maintained facility with professional staff and impeccably cared-for horses. Dedicated to helping individuals, both riders and horses thrive. Indoor facilities ensure weather independence. Horses kept in nice stalls and outdoor paddocks. Highly recommended.

Encompass Support Services Society programs are well subscribed and supported throughout the community. Annually we provided services to over 4000 individuals and families. With an annual operational budget of just over 2 million dollars, we would not be able to deliver our programs effectively without collaborating and partnering with other community organizations and groups. Through our community partnerships we are able to maximize many of our resources to deliver effective and timely programming. Partners include local service providers, schools, government, the faith community, the local library and others. We are able to be responsive and accommodate community as we have multiple funding partners and through outreach services can be flexible and provide support in multiple locations. To sustain and enhance the excellent services we provide, we are always working in partnerships and searching for opportunities to address community needs.
