Beaver Lake Resort and Campground is an 11 acre property that boasts 50 camping RV and tent sites, a fantastic wilderness trail system that surrounds the lake and guest programs that are second to none. Located in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. The Humphrey family has always been avid campers. When planning to retire from the Canadian Navy Jim and Dawnette Humphrey along with their children decided to pursue entrance into the tourism/hospitality industry. After locating this pristine site that was once a part of Cowichan Valley's proud logging history we knew that it was better suited to become a campground for all to enjoy, plus an excellent place to raise our family. In June of 2001 we began developing our campground, taking into careful consideration all of the things we liked and disliked about campgrounds we had visited over the years. You will not find those campsites where you are right on top of your neighbour at our resort/campground, Beaver Lake Resort offers spacious sunny or shaded sites that can easily accommodate the largest of RV's. Want a private treed camping site or a wilderness tent site? We have them here as well. Maybe you would rather not rough it, then perhaps you would be interested in one of our fully self contained lakefront cabins. We pride ourselves in having clean washrooms, with flush toilets and hot showers, a coin laundry and if you need a treat, we even have a small store waiting for you. At Beaver Lake Resort camping, hot showers are all included! The focus at Beaver Lake Resort / Campground is to provide families and seniors with a camping experience that will make them want to return again and again.

We are located right downtown Lake Cowichan...on a great swimming and fishing hole. When you leave our swimming hole, you can try to catch the current in a tube, and ride the river for hours. Otters, beaver and other water dwellers frequent the wharf. Lake Cowichan is the heart of BC's Adventure Playground. Outdoor enthusiast hike, swim, fish, bike, river-tube, kayak and canoe. We are the gateway to Walbran, Carmanah, West Coast Trail and Trans Canada Trail. Easy day's trips are available for recreational trekkers. Soak up the sun on the wharf or jump in and enjoy a refreshing swim.
