The Ladysmith Waterfront Gallery (LAC) is a community based not-for-profit art gallery located in Ladysmith, BC. The Town of Ladysmith generously provides space for a gallery, classrooms and artist studio space in the old Machine Shop located on Oyster Bay Dr. overlooking the Ladysmith Harbour. The Waterfront Galley has been in operation since October 2006 and the Arts Council of Ladysmith and District was formed in 2003. The council is a 100% volunteer organization. Visitors to The Waterfront Gallery enjoy a diverse program of changing exhibitions ranging from historic to cutting-edge contemporary art, photography, design and crafts, all community friendly exhibitions. The visual arts program is fundamental to the Gallery.
