With the assistance of two staff members, Helen prepares all the food served in the establishment, including the always-fresh injera bread. Afework works up front in the cafe, greeting customers, delivering food to the tables, and making everyone feel welcome. The East African Cafe is a popular spot for vegetarians and vegans, known for its generous portions and great service. Customers highly recommend the vegetarian combo, tsaba tibs, makiyato, and Ethiopian/Eritrean dishes. The ambiance is cozy and the service unobtrusive.
