The Kingston Aeros started as the trampoline program for the Kingston Gymnastics Club in September 1973 with Head Coach, Dave Ross. The club was initially housed in the basement of the Queen's University Athletic Centre. Since then, there have been a few other homes and we are now located at the JSM Recreational Centre in our own facility! In 1975 the Aeros hosted the Kingston Invitational where synchronized trampoline was first introduced as a competitive part of the trampoline program. The "2 Trick Spectacular", a showpiece event allowing athletes to wow the crowd, really put Aeros on the map. Since then, many Ontario, Canadian, World Champions and Olympians were developed by the club, including Allison Pester, Heather-Ross McManus and Brenna Casey. Our kids, from recreational trampolinist through provincial and national athletes form a great team. Dave Ross, our first Head Coach, is still deeply involved in the Trampoline world and is, among many other things, the Canadian National Team Head Coach. We have programs running for all levels of athlete from beginner recreational through provincial, national, and international . Trampoline work is also considered an important training opportunity for other disciplines such as cheerleading, figure skating, diving, snowboarding, wakeboarding, etc. We are proud of our past accomplishments and plan to continue to offer fun, safe, and satisfying trampoline programs for the Kingston Community. Come out and see us, give us a try, and get in on the action. Aeros Trampoline in Kingston is a popular destination for children and parents. The staff receives high praise for their great service during trampoline training camps and weekly lessons. The training is described as awesome and the food is loved by kids.
