Wine Villa is a place where people come and have been since March 1994 to make their own wine. Wes Devries opened the first two Wine Villa’s one in Stittsville in 1994. Michelle Varteniuk joined Wes as a business partner in December 2003 to open the Hazeldean location and she hasn’t looked back since. They contemplated to stop expansion at four stores but things went the other way, as they purchased two existing Priority Wines stores in Arnprior and Renfrew in December 2006. Wes and Michelle were surprised and honoured to receive the Retailer of the Year Award 2008 voted by their customers and awarded by the Kanata Chamber of Commerce in March 2008. Nothing says more about the quality and service provided by Wine Villa and their staff being presented this award. You do not have to know anything about how to make wine to produce excellent Chardonnays, Rieslings and Merlots. Experienced staff is available at all times to guide you through the process.
