In British Columbia this works out to be between 350, 000 to 400, 000 vehicles annually. Each vehicle contains an average of 50 litres of contaminants such as oils and greases, antifreeze, fuel, windshield fluid, lead acid batteries, CFC’s, HCF’s (A/C refrigerant) and mercury switches. As a vehicle sits and decays, these hazardous contaminants leech into the environment, damaging everything from our soil and water tables to the ozone. We are very excited to provide Kamloops and surrounding area with FREE towing service for salvage vehicles and provide the required de-pollution of your vehicle prior to dismantling to ensure proper recycling.
