The Jasper Volunteer Fire Brigade is a dedicated group of volunteers who provide the Jasper townsite and Jasper National Park front country with firefighting and rescue services. The JVFB operates with just over 30 volunteer members in addition to a full time Fire Chief and Deputy Fire Chief who are employed by the Municipality of Jasper. The member list shows very diverse individual backgrounds and occupations, with a common desire to help our community, its residents, and visitors. This is evident in not only the emergency services that they provide but also in their involvement and support in the community. The JVFB supports many local events as well as organisations such as the Muscular Dystrophy Society, the Lou Gehrig's Disease society, the Alberta Burn Victims Rehabilitation Society, Jasper Minor Sports, the Jasper Food Bank, the High School scholarship program, Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, Minor sports and many others.
