The Dr Duncan Murray Recreation Centre is a popular sports and recreation centre in Hinton. It features a hockey rink, an athletic complex, and a pool with a climbing wall, swing rope, and big size floaties. The pool is clean with friendly staff and good for families. The hot tub is of a great size. The public swim hours on weekends are unconventional, and some visitors suggest bringing a lock for the lockers. The recreation centre is also a common evacuation site.
