The Museum of the Highwood welcomes all visitors to check out our wonderful exhibits, research our extensive archives regarding High River and the surrounding area, check out our gift shop and to enjoy themselves. We also have an interactive and hands-on Imagination Station for the little ones to play in! The Museum of the Highwood is also the location of High River's Visitor Information Centre where our representatives will happily help you in regards to planning your trip and recommending up-to-date information on things to do within the Foothills area. 
This museum, previously a train station, showcases local and Alberta history, with a focus on filming locations and ranching history. Many reviews praise the friendly staff and various displays, including those on Heartland, Superman, and indigenous artifacts. The Imagination Station is a hit among kids. Entry is by donation.
