Optical Factory was first established at the Centre Mall in 1983 as a chain store managed by Steve Schafer R.. In 1990, Optical Factory was offered as a franchise opportunity by Standard Optical to Mr. Schafer. Five years later, still in the Centre Mall, Steve Schafer bought it outright and has never looked back since.
