CAP is a registered charity working for the needs of cancer patients and their families in the Hamilton Community. We offer equipment for rent, such as wheelchairs, bath chairs, bed rails and canes, as well as transportation to medical appointments. We also provide diet supplements, incontinence supplies, breast prostheses and bras, and wigs. All of our services are free of charge and provided by volunteers. The Cancer Assistance Program in Hamilton receives numerous praises from its clients for the indispensable role they played during their cancer journey. They provided transportation to numerous appointments with kind and uplifting drivers who eased anxiety with conversations. Some clients were assisted with walkers, prosthetics, and food during their recovery. The organization is volunteer-based and highly recommended for its considerate staff, helpful programs, and services provided at no cost.
