Our Home! CFB Past Presidents Provincial Champions at CFB CFB Halifax Curling Club has a relatively short history, being the second youngest curling club in HRM. In 1970, four separate curling clubs, Stadacona Curling Club, Windsor Park Curling Club, Dockyard Curling Club, and Gorsebrook Curling Club, were renting ice from Glencoe Curling Club on Maitland Street in Halifax, and wanted their own facility to play in. On January 15, 1971 they incorporated into CFB Halifax Curling Club. CFB Halifax Curling Club is a modern, 6 sheet curling facility located conveniently in peninsular Halifax ( see Directions ). Although our club provides recreation opportunities to the military community, we also have a large civilian membership. Our championship history is varied and colourful with Provincial and National winners ( See Winners ). We have good representation in the competitive community in Nova Scotia, and our club has a reputation for relaxed and social curling. Our leagues are varied and can accommodate curlers at every level. 2014-2015 Board Members. 
C f b Halifax Curling Club is a popular sports destination with a great atmosphere, especially in the Sunday Social league. Many customers praise the educational experience and the beautiful facility. The club hosts major events like the New Scotland Brewing Women's/Men's Cash Spiel. Curling here brings a lot of pleasure and fun for regular attendees. Prices for memberships are affordable.

Centennial Arena has been serving the community since 1967. It has been the main frame of the community for many years and still is today. Many great hockey players got there start at the Centennial Arena playing for the Centennial Hawks in the earlier days (now known as the Halifax Hawks); Most recently, Steven Dixon. It is also the location for the Halifax West High School Boys & Girls Hockey Team. Check the Halifax West High website for details on game times. The Halifax Skating Club has been using the arena for many, many years as well. Canadian champions Marie McNeil (Bownes) and the late Rob McCall skated many hours in preparation for their championships around the world.
