Guelph Paper Company has a long and well-established history in the Guelph community since its founding in 1907. Our product selection was small compared to today, and it has continued to grow over the past century. Since then, customers have always been satisfied with our service. In 1955, Walter Barker, known to most as Wally, bought the company and began serving Guelph and area with newfound effort. Wally realized that industrial companies did not have a local supplier, so he began selling to them. Then, in 1956, he became a licensed distributor for Kimberly-Clark. After 40 years, Wally retired and sold Guelph Paper Company to his son, John, in 1996.
