I'm very pleased to have the opportunity to work with your child. Your child has the opportunity to take part in an exciting program that involves cross-curricular links will all subjects. Your child has the opportunity to take part in global projects that involve rowing, international photography festivals, field trips to professional artists/photographers/film makers, etc. Our afterschool activity program has approx. 200 students taking part in enrichment programs for Media Studies (photography, yearbook, film making, yearend video, news casts, newspaper, website support, Adobe Photoshop advanced, etc.). I strongly encourage your child to take advantage of this free opportunity while at middle school, many students have had national success at various festival's and competition's for work they have done on an extracurricular basis while at River Valley Middle School.
