It all started in January 2007. Catherine Pellerin was a television industry freelancer. She was approached by Kaboom Communication Design to produce the Tourisme Outaouais national summer advertising campaign. With the help of Jean-Denis Ménard, who was a freelance director of photography at the time, they decided to rise to the challenge together. Working from the basement of Jean-Denis’ home for the next 2 years, they tested the market and discovered real potential for a video production company. Monitoring the corporate video and television advertising industry in the Outaouais region, they noted a number of shortcomings, particularly in production quality and in the offering of truly bilingual productions.
