Julia has over 33 years of experience in Public Accounting for small to medium sized businesses, non-profits, and individuals, and has been in practise for herself for the past 27 years. After Graduating with a B. degree from Trinity College at the University of Toronto, she worked as a junior CA for several years for a medium sized CA firm in the East End of Toronto She moved to the West end of Toronto, and set up her own practice as "Julia P Stavreff CA" in 1983. Initially she had only five clients. However, her client base grew rapidly as a result of networking, and referrals and she soon took on support staff to help service her growing clientele. In 1991 Julia and another CA named Barbara Gory merged their practices into a partnership called "Gory and Stavreff, Chartered Accountants". After Barbara's retirement, Julia took over Barbara's clients as well as her own, and the name of the firm again became "Julia P Stavreff CA" . Currently, Julia has 5 support staff : another Chartered Accountant in addition to herself, two staff accountants, an audit technician/bookkeeper, and an administrative assistant.
