Equip KIDS (Kids In Developing Societies) International is a non-sectarian, non-governmental, grassroots, charitable organization dedicated to promoting the full inclusion and participation of children with disabilities around the world. Our current efforts are focused in Peru. We work directly with children and their families through the provision of assistive technology (such as wheelchairs, walkers and communication devices), and we support families, professionals and community organizations through training, support and mentoring. We believe that every child has the right to mobility, communication and education and we are committed to providing the tools disabled children require to meet and exceed these needs. We certainly understand the enormity of the tasks ahead of us, but we have also seen what a huge difference the smallest of steps can make in the lives of these children.
