The LCDS Preschool & Kindergarten Program is an independent, Parent Cooperative, play oriented, not for profit, education program for children 3-5 years old. The school has been operating since 1972. Although LCDS Preschool & Kindergarten is located inside a church, we are non-denominational. The primary focus of the program is for each child to develop age appropriate social and behavior skills, developmental and communication skills in a fun, friendly and safe environment. A love of learning is encouraged in every child through structured activities, free play, daily projects, monthly themes and circle time. Special events such as seasonal parties, family events, field trips and in-class presentations are also included to enhance the learning process. Parent involvement plays a key role in the success of the program.
