Ernest Chissell's career as a machinist began in England, where he learned from an early age, the importance of craftsmanship and quality. Ernest and wife Helen, immigrated to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 1962. Ernest had an entrepreneurial vision of opening his own machine shop and being his own boss. Wynn Machine & Manufacturing Ltd. was founded, and began operation in 1976 as a one man machine shop.
