Inovata Foods Corp. was established by Steve and Lisa Parsons in 1989, operating as The Pasta Mill Ltd. It started as a small company producing fresh pasta for the company-owned fresh pasta retail outlet and the local food service market. In 1992, we operated two fresh pasta retail outlets in Edmonton and continued to expand our fresh pasta food service market. In 1994, we expanded to a 5, 000 sq. ft. Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) inspected facility and operated retail pasta outlets in Edmonton and Calgary. In 1997, Inovata Foods expanded its manufacturing operations to a new 20, 000 sq. ft. CFIA-inspected facility in Edmonton. In 2001, we increased our operations facility to 45, 000 sq ft. In 2011 Inovata Foods Corp purchased an additional 90, 000 square foot production facility in Tillsonburg, Ontario.
