The Energizer is a non profit facility which has been meeting member's needs since 1989. The staff are headed up by Teresa McRae as the Manager of Facilities & Administration. Operation of The Energizer is administered by a volunteer Board of Directors who help make the Energizer what it is today. Conveniently located in ATB Place, the Energizer is a 7015 square foot facility, which has been designed to provide its members with the opportunity to enhance their well being through a wide variety of fitness and active living programs. 
The Energizer Fitness Club is described as compact with affordable fees and new, clean equipment. Friendly staff is mentioned frequently. Some reviewers appreciate the variety of equipment and the camaraderie among members. A few mention the gym's size being a drawback.
