The Greater Edmonton Lacrosse Council was organized and incorporated as a Society on January 29 of 1986. It did excist for many years prior in the communties in Edmonton and surrounding areas. The Greater Edmonton Lacrosse Council's mission is to promote the growth of lacrosse through the formation of amateur clubs in the greater Edmonton area. To keep and maintain a set of guidelines and to provide uniform playing rules for amateur lacrosse. Our goal is to promote excellence and integrity in our players and volunteer staff throughout the community, amongst their families and on the field of play.
