Visual Arts Alberta Association (common name: Visual Arts Alberta- CARFAC) is a non-profit provincial cultural organization representing the visual arts sector in Alberta. As a provincial arts service organization (PASO) we inform and promote artists, provide professional development opportunities for both members and the general public, and advocate on behalf of members. As the provincial affiliate for Canadian Artists’ Representation/Le Front des Artistes Canadiens (CARFAC) in the province of Alberta, Visual Arts Alberta – CARFAC advocates, educates and innovates. We work to improve the socio-economic conditions of all artists.

Harcourt House Artist Run Centre is a charitable organization existing to support visual artists and inspire the community through visual art exhibitions, education, low cost studio rentals and discourse. About: Harcourt House is one of only four public galleries, and one of three artist-run centres in Edmonton. We deliver a host of services to both artists and the community - and act as an alternative location for the presentation, distribution and promotion of contemporary art. In our exhibition programming we seek both emerging and established artists to present work that aims to engage.
