LifeShield was founded by Kyle Mohler in September, 2007. Kyle is passionate about facilitating an outcome based program, the goal of which is to improve survival for ill and injured Canadians. Kyle deemphasizes book work and lecture, and instead encourages action and doing. His guiding philosophy is to empower people to act as opposed to stymie them with checklists and procedures. - History dictates that the checklist is of little use when a loved one stops breathing. Professionally, Kyle is full-time firefighter in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Also an active paramedic, Kyle works in the local ground ambulance system. Kyle lives in the Halifax area with his wife Natasha and their 3 children.
