It joined the Merriam Pianos group in 2020 after having served the Toronto community as Robert Lowrey's Piano Experts for over 30 years. The store's 18, 000 sq ft of showroom space makes it one of the largest in the world, and has been the subject of numerous articles and hosted hundreds of events over its storied history. The store recently increased its main-floor size by 50%, installing an acoustically treated listening gallery for German and Japanese performance-level grands from C. Bechstein, Seiler, and Shigeru Kawai.
