The Gryphon has made no effort whatsoever to be like the Holiday Inn. There is WiFi, but there are no televisions in the rooms. There is a large bookcase with books to lend, and an 18th century daybed to relax on for an afternoon read. The Salon has a fireplace and lots of comfy seating. And it’s quiet, because there is no large-screen TV in that room. There are games, jigsaw puzzles, and other puzzles. There are also reference books on the many different kinds of birds, reptiles and damsel flies on the property. There is a video room in the basement for those wanting an escape.
