The Trustees job is to get the Debtor to pay as much as possible and we only want the Debtor to pay what is required by law. The Trustee wants to put as many people into Proposals as possible because he keeps as much as 40% of everything he can get the Debtor to pay in a Proposal. Debtors end up paying for more than what is required by law and to make things worse, the Trustee never discloses to the Debtor that he actually can only represent the Creditors and that any information the Debtor gives the Trustee can be used against him in Court by the Creditors and the Trustee.
