The Centre's vision is to actively promote and support projects that will contribute to a sustainable economy for the region; a sustainable economy in which people are enabled to have an active and meaningful role. At the Centre we fulfill our mandate to provide programs and we design and apply them in a community context. We are then able to present solutions and provide supports which assist individuals as well as organizations who want to participate in the economic and social recovery and growth of our community. Specific goals articulated in our operating guidelines are achieved through the delivery of programs and services which include: Employment and Career Development Assistance through the WorkBC Program, Support Services for Small Business growth, Youth Service Learning Projects and Work Experience, Job Creation Projects, Public Computer and Internet Access and other Volunteer Community Services.
