University of Toronto Graduate Students' Union

The UTGSU opposes all forms of discrimination and oppression, including those based on gender, ethnicity, race, class, ability, religion, spiritual beliefs, sexuality, sexual orientation, nationality, and age. (Adopted by Executive, July 16, 2003) The Graduate Students’ Union at the University of Toronto represents over 15, 000 students studying in over 85 departments. For many years this union has advocated for increased student representation, funding, and provided services such as health insurance, confidential advice, and a voice for the graduate student body on the various committees of the University. This section describes how the Union is organized, what we do, and how you can become involved. The best way for your Union to represent you, is to have your voice heard.
