Description
Tutoring Beyond Borders was founded in 2010 by Brenda Lee during her undergraduate career at the University of Waterloo. In 2012, TBB was recognized as a Canadian charitable organization.
TBB’s main purpose is to provide free tutoring to students from Grades 7 to 12 who seek assistance with their courses, may it be homework help, preparation for tests and exams, or even enriched learning.
This charity offers a unique type of free tutoring program: in-person tutoring lessons between one volunteer tutor and one student, delivered one-on-one in a quiet, public setting. These venues may include public libraries, community centres, or quiet cafés.
