Description
In 1833, Henry Thomas and his wife Sarah, with their two year old baby boy, Edward, sailed from Devonshire, England. When Edward was 25 years old, he started a construction company. His first project was to build a United church in Bareneed in 1856. This is the year the company was established and it was located in Rawlins cross. In May of 2014 Thomas Glass joined Economy Glass and became Thomas Economy Glass, making it part of the largest Atlantic Canadian Glass company. This transition gave Thomas Economy Glass access to a wider range of Architectural Aluminum and Glass products as well as added technical support and expertise. All this while maintaining the traditions and ideology of a company with such a full and rich history.
