The Urban Settler is a family owned company founded in 1998 in North Vancouver, British Columbia. We specialize in reclaimed wood tables and other custom furniture pieces. We deal with Canadian suppliers and, wherever possible, Canadian manufactured goods. Our few first years in business were spent sourcing, restoring and reviving antique furniture as well as architectural pieces. Our business was focused on reclaiming wood and other vintage building materials that could be re-purposed into unique home décor and furnishings. As demand for local and sustainable products grew, The Urban Settler evolved into a leading producer and source for reclaimed wood furniture, reclaimed wood flooring, feature wall cladding, and reclaimed wood millwork. Today we serve a mix of residential homeowners, designers, architects and commercial clients in British Columbia, Alberta, across Canada, and the United States.
