You are welcome here! Westminster invites seekers and questioners, those new to the Christian faith and those who have walked the journey for a while. As part of the United Church of Canada, a mainline liberal protestant denomination, we seek to have a relationship with God who is made known to us through Jesus. We endeavor to to love God and love our neighbour. Mission: To be a Christian community sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Living in respect with creation, we provide a spiritual home for worship, celebration of the sacraments, and Christian education. Vision: To reflect the hope of Jesus Christ through worship, education, and outreach. What we believe: A New Creed We are not alone, we live in God’s world. We believe in God: who has created and is creating, who has come in Jesus, the Word made flesh, who works in us and others by the Spirit. We trust in God. We are called to be the Church: to celebrate God’s presence, to live with respect in Creation, to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen, our judge and our hope. In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us. We are not alone. Thanks be to God.
