The Spaces Between Counselling, Surrey, BC

I have a profound appreciation for where I am in my life. My past, even the most difficult parts, not only make sense to me now, but I understand that those pieces of the puzzle were necessary to create who I am in a way that is uniquely me. Travelling and ultimately living in Japan for two years was an adventure. What I found in the spaces between the cultural differences both inspires me and makes my life rich. In the same way I am discovering and learning about my clients and their worlds, as they too learn more about themselves. I have come to realize it was my own perspectives and choices that created me, not my family story or culture. It was, and always is, a true epiphany when anyone deeply understands the power of that knowledge; the power that lies with each of us to change anything we desire.
