Taylor Hill Exploration Ltd. (“Taylor Hill”) is a privately owned Canadian petroleum and natural gas exploration company located in Alberta, Canada, which conducts exploration and development ventures in the Western Canada’s natural resources industry. Taylor Hill was incorporated in 1990 under the name ‘414896 Alberta Ltd.’ The company has made investments in exploration activity since its inception including exploration and development drilling, seismic operations and the acquisition of mineral leases. In the past, the company has undertaken petroleum and natural gas exploration consulting projects and for specific projects the company may continue to take on such consulting projects in the future. The head office of is located south of Calgary. Taylor Hill has a small but experienced management that work with a group of equally experienced oil and gas consultants. In many cases, the company’s consultants participate jointly with Taylor Hill in new exploration activity. The President, Stephan R. Benediktson, is a Canadian professional geologist with over 35 years’ experience in the petroleum exploration industry. Typically, Taylor Hill acquires a 100% working interest land base on its prospects then markets these projects to the industry prior to further exploration activity (i. seismic, drilling, etc. Recently Taylor Hill has done numerous transactions with private and public oil and gas companies in Western Canada. In every case Taylor Hill has retained interests in the prospects which were sold. Often these transactions were done with “startups” and the prospects and leases enabled purchasing companies to raise funds from investors through public financings. Often Taylor Hill takes share positions in ‘start up’ resource companies which it does transactions with as partial payment.
