Our History Norm Swenson has been working in the small engine industry for over 30 years. He farmed until 1990, and at that time sold the farmland and opened Swen's Small Engines right in his back yard. It started out like most other small businesses with Norm doing it all: sales, parts counter, and tech work. In 1998, the business had grown to the point of needing another technician to assist with service and repairs. He has been in the lawn and garden industry since 1990. Norm is a "Small Engine Master Briggs & Stratton" technician, an "Expert Kohler" technician, as well as a "Qualified Stihl Technician".
