Description
Petrolia Enterprise is a division of Lambton County Developmental Services. Petrolia Enterprises started as a sheltered workshop to provide training and work experience to persons with disabilities. Over the years Ministry dollars continue to decrease and new and innovative measures are continuously taken to generate funds to operate our business.
Through our social enterprise businesses we strive to generate a profit while providing a secondary opportunity to fulfill our social mission through our businesses – Catering by Kitchen Creations, The Olde Post Office Gift Shoppe & ice cream parlor, Oil Town Suds & Duds and Petrolia Enterprises. All these services employ people with developmental disabilities, providing an important community role.
