We give sanctuary to exotic birds that have been abandoned or abused.
Company description
Parrot Island is a unique sanctuary for exotic birds run by Ray Parkes and his wife Valerie. They have devoted their lives to the preservation of these beautiful animals for the benefit of all. Ray and Valerie also run a program whereby birds are matched up with individuals in the Okanagan Valley that could benefit from the love and companionship of one of these amazing birds. Both end up benefitting from the mutual love and affection they both share. If you feel you are a potential recipient of one of these birds, contact Ray anytime.
