Options Personnel Inc (OPI) was incorporated in 1991 in the midst of a recession. We were small players in a very competitive market. Servicing the entire downtown core of Toronto with merely a fax machine, telephone and a photocopier. With zero automation and an employee base of 4, we were forced to quickly build credibility and produce results in order to ensure sustainable wins. In 1995, we experienced extraordinary growth. Our vision was to make a lasting impact within the recruitment business sector. With over 50+ clients and doubling our staff to 8, we implemented a new network system to automate some of our processes. Determined to set and maintain high standards, we quickly realized that in addition to resiliency, we needed to ensure that all OPI staff shared the same values and standards as the business model. Thus, OPI institutionalized core principles and values to drive this new company culture forward.
