Northern Images is the retail art marketing arm of Arctic Co-operatives Limited, a service
organization owned and controlled by 32 community-based, multi-purpose co-operatives in
Nunavut, the Northwest Territories and Yukon. Arctic Co-operatives Limited is dedicated to providing
services and business development opportunities to communities throughout Canada's north.

The Co-ops are independently owned and controlled Inuit and Dene businesses, operating retail
facilities, hotels, cable operations, construction, outfitting, arts and crafts production
and property rentals.
Northern Images supports and promotes northern artists and their products by marketing
Inuit and Dene art and crafts in our Yellowknife gallery and on our website. Our Yellowknife gallery has been supporting artits for over 40 years. We are committed to the improvement of the economic well being of co-op communities by providing art marketing expertise and services to ensure the long-term viability of co-op community produced art as well as the preservation of the Inuit and Dene heritage as depicted through arts and crafts.
