Since the 1960’s God has been kind to allow the believers at Mountain View Baptist Church to have both burden for and influence within the community of Goulais River. We have an ever increasing desire to reach the people of our community with the life changing truth of the gospel. In this life there are many influences vying for the allegiance of our hearts. Through the years as a pastor I have described these influences of the world as square pegs that are unable to fit the God sized hole in the soul of man. The inability of these influences to bring any sense of fulfillment is frustrating. As this frustration becomes a reality in your life do not despair. The Word of God that is able to make man wise unto salvation is that necessary influence that can bring significant meaning to this life and hope for the next.
