Ransport was formed in March 1980 as a Canadian based, inter-national freight forwarder. In November 1982, the name was changed to M. T. Intermodal Shipping Inc., to emphasize the intermodal concept of the company. O. opened it's first U. office in February 2003 located in Rochester, NY. This office is licensed as an International Freight Forwarder and a Customs House Broker, as well as being certified as an IAC for air freight. A branch office in Texas was opened in January, 2006. In a spirit of partnership with our customers, we take pride in offering high quality, personalized service. We tailor our services to each of our customer's individual needs. Our staff is multilingual, offering services in English, French, German, Greek, Italian and Spanish.
