LubeSource, Concord, ON

LubeSource is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Original Parts Warehouse, Inc. (OPW). OPW has been a Shell oil reseller since 1999 and created LubeSource to focus exclusively on the oil distribution marketplace. In 2010, LubeSource was appointed the Alliance Distributor for Shell lubricants in the province of Ontario and opened the current 60, 000 ft.² distribution centre in Vaughan, ON.
One of the key steps in becoming a Shell Lubricants Alliance Distributor is preparing for and passing the DPQA (Distributor Product Quality Assurance) audit. This audit is very comprehensive in scope, affecting the receiving, testing and dispensing of bulk oil, the layout of the warehouse, inventory management plus health and safety measures. The DPQA audit had never been passed by any distributor on the first attempt, that is until LubeSource scored a phenomenal 96.5%, easily amongst the very best Alliance Distributors Shell has anywhere.
Another KPI (Key Performance Indicator) for Shell is fill-rate or OTIF (On-Time, In-Full), LubeSource has been a top performer from day 1 maintaining an OTIF in excess of 95%, also amongst the best Shell Alliance Distributors.
