Description
The Local is a grass roots community newspaper on the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia, Canada, in its 11th year of operation. Our weekly paper is delivered on Thursdays from Port Mellon to Egmont. The Local reflects the heart and soul of our communities with news and information about the Sunshine Coast. We are locally staffed and supported by local businesses and readers and are truly a ‘people’s paper.’ We are proud to represent the people and places on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
