It’s hard to feel like people will understand you when you’ve been through difficult life experiences and have had to do hard things to survive. Getting control of your emotions and finding a way to stop the pain and suffering is possible. You may fear that feeling deeply makes you weak but your strength comes from your sensitivity and your ability to make it through tough times, even when you’re afraid the world won’t understand or that people will abandon you. You might feel like something is wrong with you or that no matter what you do nothing will get better.
